How Far Would You Go.

How Far Would You Go is a immersive narrative experience that highlights the lengths a mother will go to in order to save her child, and the difficult choice of being forced to pick between two evils. The experience also narrates a victim’s joinery of breast ironing and the issues that surround, cause and allow it to happen.

Concept

Titled “How far will you go?” This experience aims not only to address how far a mother and grandmother will go to protect their child, preserve tier innocence, mask the pain of the unjust society they live in, but also bring to life the intergenerational trauma that happens to these women. Research of this topic exposed me to the different methods , I could use to approach and tackle a problem with society through a design solution. .

Goal

A zonal telling of their testimony. Working collaboratively with CAWIGIDO, the project provides an experiential awareness campaign that empathise with all the victims affected by this brutality.

The experience is split into seven zones to narrate the victims’s story and the complexity surrounding breast ironing.

ELEVATION

The elevations best characterise the growth of the breast like structure that sits proudly in the centre of the exhibition. Nipples can be seen at the hanging tips, and droop lowly to intentionally block your path.
